Where can i mine elementium

What the heck happened? Are these completely useless now? Comment by domacleod The unique properties of elementium allow it to absorb and channel elemental forces. Skilled smiths temper elementium in blistering forges, adding to the quality of the item. All such objects are masterwork quality and are immune to cold, fire and electricity damage.

Elementium is the hardest known metal. Elementium is so heavy that to craft armor from it would leave the wearer virtually immobile , so the metal is usually only used to craft weapons. Elementium has no market price. It's too rare to be available. It's not something you buy-it's something you go get. From: WoWWiki. Comment by Drathellia The Elementium Depths in Twilight Highlands is one of the best places to get a consistent supply of Elementium and pyrite ore.

Not to many people usually there and the enemies aren't to bad to deal with. U should be able to average a full bag of E. Ore in less than a few hours of mining with some pyrite to boot. Comment by Mike21daisu There is a place called Elementium Depths in Twilight Highlands , I found about elementium and 20 pyrite ores in there, it's a cave and there are lots of elementium and pyrite ores in there, it's the best place for farming elementium ores.

Seems like the ore veins don't spawn as often if at all in this place anymore, which kinda makes my comment irrelevant. Comment by Mixtonic The name Elementium Depths speaks for it self. I was able to make a good ores from just clearing it took about 15 minutes. I find it easier to farm here than to run around in Uldum where there are more people and the nodes are more spread out, so if you're like me, head over to Elementium Depths in south-western Twilight Highlands.

Comment by DisRuptive1 In Uldum, Elementium ore nodes take approximately 5 and a half minutes to spawn I've clocked at ranges between and My Route Once you've mined a node, a cooldown starts which lasts approximately 5 and a half minutes.

After this time has passed, the node will respawn a random Elementium, Rich Elementium, or Pyrium node at random. Allowing a node to exist for a certain period of time of not being mined doesn't upgrade the node or change the node in any way. The node stays what it is until it's mined and then it respawns randomly once its cooldown is over. The most efficient way to mine is to find a route that takes an amount of time equal to or greater than but not less than the respawn period of whatever you're mining.

That means the most efficient method for mining Elementium in Uldum involves using a route that takes at least 5 and a half minutes to complete. Some posters will post routes that take 10 minutes or longer to complete, taking you across every node in the zone. The problem with this is that the longer a node exists before you get to it means that there's a greater chance for someone else to come along and grab it.

In fact, the most efficient routes will be quite small such as with Obsidium Ore. You can only mine, mount, and dismount so many times before an ore node respawns. If you're the first one on a node when it respawns and your route brings you back to that node shortly after it respawns again, eventually you'll "own" every node on your route. Only some random lucky person who comes across your node a second before you get there will have a chance at stealing it, and even then, it won't affect your route in any way.

An efficient route will bring you back to that point shortly after the node respawns and you'll have that node for yourself. Contested Areas There's a few things you can do to give yourself an edge if you're in a heavily contested zone. Even if you have the perfect route, you're going to have randoms doing their thing coming across one of your nodes around the time it respawns this is why you want to be as close to as possible without going under because going over too long gives randoms time to take the respawn.

Tip : Have you ever wondered how players have so many level 85s or how they can level an 85 so quickly? I use and strongy recommend Zygor's in-game leveling addon which will enable you to level in 5 days of played time. You can find a free version of it here. I spent about 90 minutes in Deepholm and came out with over Elementium Ore. There must have been someone else mining in the area when you were there John.

Much thanks to the Admin for taking the time to make this guide! Was just mining in Twilight and I had trouble finding stuff… but never ran into anyone along the way.. I only found like 3 or 4 nodes. LOTS of obsidium in deepholm, very little elementium for me. This guide is fail…. Elementium is the hardest known metal. It's too rare to be available. It's not something you buy-it's something you go get. Wowpedia Explore. Main Page All Pages. So your level 80 alts are going to have to find two levels before you go a-mining. So how do you farm Pyrite Ore? You can only find it in Twilight Highlands and Uldum. Pyrite is a brass-yellow mineral with a bright metallic luster. It has a chemical composition of iron sulfide FeS2 and is the most common sulfide mineral.

It forms at high and low temperatures and occurs, usually in small quantities, in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks worldwide. If your fishing skill is only 1, you can still fish in Pool of Fire. Recognized for its brass-yellow color which resembles that of gold, pyrite is a source of iron and sulfur and is used for the production of sulfuric acid.

Some types of pyrite contain enough microscopic gold to warrant mining them as a gold ore. The value of this specimen to collectors of crystalline gold would be many times the value of its contained gold.
