The church museum began holding Christmas services in In February , on Nova Scotia Heritage Day, the provincial government announced that a bell which once hung in the Seaview United Baptist Church would be returned and placed on the land outside the Africville Museum. The bell, which survived the church demolition in , had been held in safekeeping at a church in Beechville for over 50 years.
